Overview Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Nintendo Switch

THE BIGGEST MARIO KART TO DATE!

Mario, Luigi, Peach and other heroes from the Super Mario series are joined by old and new friends such as King Boo, Dry Bones and Bowser Jr. Even the Inklings from Splatoon are racing around the track!

Once you’ve chosen a driver, you can select a vehicle and equip it with tires, a chassis and a paraglider of your choice before the starting shot is fired.

MORE TRACKS THAN EVER TO RACE ON!

Take on your opponents on land, sea and in the air on 48 spectacular circuits, even racing over the walls and ceiling. All the circuits (and characters!) From Mario Kart 8 for Wii U can be seen in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, including circuits based on The Legend of Zelda , Animal Crossing and Excitebike, among others .

You can choose from five different speed classes such as the GP 150 cc (mirror) and the super-fast GP 200 cc. Haven’t played Mario Kart before? Then use the steering aid to make sure you stay on the road.

MAKE GOOD USE OF OBJECTS!

You can now carry two items at the same time, enabling completely new strategies in both races and battles. In addition to familiar items such as the banana, the sprint mushroom and the infamous blue shield, two items from previous Mario Kart games are back: Boo allows you to become invisible and maybe even steal another player’s item. The spring allows you to jump to avoid attacks. ***

COMBAT MODE IS BIGGER THAN EVER!

You can face off in a variety of ways in the revamped combat mode. Rock things out in the classic Balloon Fight, Bob-omb Gang, Coin Fight and Solar Battle. In crook hunting you can hunt each other.

There are eight levels in which you can compete against your opponents. Blast your friends into the air in classic levels like Luigi’s Estate or stay out of the hands of your opponents as you tear through the Trout Viaduct out of Splatoon.
